Other Community Websites

Recently, the Alumni Office was informed that the following sites had started Notre Dame High School, Chattanooga, TN Alumni Community sites: http://www.myschoolreunited.com/, http://www.classreport.org/, and www.classmates.com. None of these sites are sponsored or endorsed by the Alumni Association of Notre Dame High School.

These sites post false demographical and alumni information. These sites were started without our permission and steps are being taken to have the site owners remove these pages. If you use these sites we cannot ensure your online safety. These sites use your information and demographics to sell advertisements which pay for the maintenance of these sites and generate profit for the owners. Fees paid to the websites do not go to support the Notre Dame High School or the Alumni Association.

The Notre Dame Alumni Association provides the following community site for all of its alumni free of charge: http://alumni.myndhs.com/. This site is safe and secure because it is managed internally and only Notre Dame Alumni, Faculty, and Parents are allowed access to the community portion of the site.

Our site is non-advertisement based, and the site is not an off-shoot of a nationally connected community. Members of the Alumni Council also utilize and maintain a Facebook page to stay in touch with alumni.

Unlike http://alumni.myndhs.com/, other community sites are based nationally therefore allowing many people access to your information. These sites may use your information for their benefit and even try to get membership dues from you to continue use. The Alumni Office does not recommend use of these other sites. Please use other community sites at your own risk.
