The Alumni Association wants your old Prom Dresses!!

Do you have old prom or formal dresses stuffed in the back of your closet that you will never wear again? If the answer is yes, pay attention! If you graduated between 1998-2008, the Notre Dame Alumni Association wants your old prom and formal dresses. Notre Dame is going to offer a prom dress resell party for its current students in January. If you are willing do donate your gently worn prom and/or formal dresses we would love to have them!

Money raised at this event and from the dresses sold go directly to Notre Dame’s tuition Assistance Fund. This fund supports Notre Dame families that need extra assistance with tuition allowing families to give their children a strong spiritual and academic education. Please help us help families!

You can drop off your dresses to the Alumni Office or front office at Notre Dame High School. Please place the bag in a protective bag when delivering it.

For those alumni away at school or that live out of town who will be in town for the holidays who wish to drop off a dress, the school will be open through December 19, 2008. We will be closed for Christmas break beginning December 20, 2008-January 4, 2009. We will reopen on January 5, 2009.

Also, for décor at the party we would love to have old pictures of you at the prom in your dress. You can mail pictures in to the Alumni Office at:

Notre Dame Alumni Office

Attn: Veronica Seaman

2701 Vermont Avenue

Or you can upload a copy online via the following link.

Thank you for consideration and assistance!

For federal income tax purposes a donation of clothing is considered and in-kind gift. Notre Dame will be happy to provide an acknowledgement letter upon receipt of the donation. The valuation of in-kind gifts is the responsibility of the donor.
